1. How to Enter the Contest
a. The Oasis Celebrating Fabulous Moms Contest will begin on Monday April 28, 2008 at 6:00 AM Central Standard Time (“CST”) and end on approximately Wednesday May 7, 2008 at 11:00 PM. CST.
b. To participate in the contest listeners need to go to www.wendytempleton.com any time after 6:00 AM Monday April 28, 2008 PM CST through 11:00 PM Wednesday May 7, 2008 CST and complete the online entry form with their first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone phone, and a valid email address. Contest listener must also complete the section of the on-line entry form that details why they feel that their Mom is fabulous. This section of the form is limited to a two hundred and fifty (250) word maximum. There is only one Internet entry per person and one Internet entry per email address. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online serve provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Entries received after 11:00 PM Wednesday, May 7, 2008 CST will not be eligible.
c. Sovereign City Communications (contest promoter) is also not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.
d. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and Sovereign City Communications will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent.
2. Eligibility Restrictions
a. The contest is open to all Sovereign City Communications and WECB-FM listeners. Employees of Sovereign City Communications and Woodward Communications, their licensee, corporate parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.
b. Only one winner per household is permitted in this contest.
c. Listeners are eligible to win a Sovereign City Communications contest only once every sixty (60) days and a prize valued at $600 or more, only once every six (6) months.
d. Winner will be required to sign station contest release forms.
3. Prizes:
a. The GRAND PRIZE consists of 2 tickets to the May 30, 2008 Eagles show at Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY. Two round trip airline tickets departing from Milwaukee’s Mitchell International Airport on the airline chosen by Sovereign City Communications. A one night hotel stay at a hotel chosen by Sovereign City Communications, Ground transportation arranged by Sovereign City Communications, and $104.30 in spending money.
b. Four runner up winners will receive one of the following. $100 worth of house cleaning services from a provider in the Appleton-Green Bay, WI area chosen by Sovereign City Communications. A gift certificate valued at $100 from a Appleton-Green Bay, WI jewelry store. $100 of services provided by a Appleton-Green Bay, WI spa, chosen by Sovereign City Communications, and $100 worth of services provided by an Appleton-Green Bay hair and make-up service to be chosen by Sovereign City Communications. Runner up prizes will be issued in gift certificate form.
c. All runner up prizes will be mailed. Winner must supply valid identification to receive their prize. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with implied consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. Sovereign City Communications is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
d. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes. The prizes are expressly limited to the items listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. All winners of gift certificates will be subject to the terms and conditions as set forth by the prize provider. Other restrictions may apply.
4. Selection of Winners
a. Decision of contest judges and station management with respect to the contest is final.
b. Sovereign City Communications contest judges and management will review on-line entries and select one grand prize winner and four runner-up winners based on the description of why a contest entrants Mom is fabulous.
c. All prize awards are subject to verification of eligibility.
d. Contest entrants do not have to listen to win. Contest entrants may be contacted by Sovereign City Communications air talent to tell on air why their Mom is fabulous. Being contacted for an on air performance does not increase chances of winning the grand prize or runner-up prizes. Odds of winning are dependant on how many people enter.
5. Conditions
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner. Winner may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent if, accumulated prizes won from Sovereign City Communications is over six hundred dollars ($600.)
b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, Sovereign City Communications at its sole discretion may require contest winners to sign a document agreeing to hold Sovereign City Communications, its corporate licensee, its parent corporation, affiliated and subsidiary companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. Sovereign City Communications, in is sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Sovereign City Communications e-mail system, website(s) or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
e. Sovereign City Communications is not responsible for typographical errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
f. Sovereign City Communications reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of Sovereign City Communications, an event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, Sovereign City Communications reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
g. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification at the sole discretion o Sovereign City Communications.
h. Copies of the written contest rules and list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of Sovereign City Communications, 2300 Riverside Drive, Green Bay, WI 54301 or by sending a self addressed stamped envelope to the Station at the above address.
